Wilderbard is on alpha!

This is a one-person operation making games for my own fulfillment. I tell the stories of fabled beings who live in a world I call the Respite.

The Respite was created by Rubo, the infinite light. One could say that she embodies the Respite, and they'd be right; All things are defined by light, so all things are creations of Rubo.

Every object made by Rubo serves a purpose. She foresaw her own demise, so she created three children to perpetuate her will. What she failed to predict was that the third child would be the one to kill her and threaten the end of everything.

Rubo, however, is an eternal being. So long as the axioms of body, mind, and soul were unbound, she would reawaken from death and continue to provide light for her creations. To prevent this, the third child cursed her soul and mind to forever dream, and exiled her body to the pinnacle of the mortal world.

We know now that Rubo would awaken from within the dream, but in doing so she sacrificed her soul. Rubo remains in a comatose state. A spark of inspiration is needed to revitalize her will, if only temporarily, such that she may return to the skies and smile once more.
